Illinois-Wisconsin Search Dogs is a search and rescue unit made up of volunteer dog handlers and support personnel.
We help
find missing and lost persons, recover human remains on land and in water, and locate evidence.
ILL-WIS Search Dogs is a not-for-profit
501(c) corporation. We respond to local and federal law enforcement agencies, and fire departments. We never charge for our services

Our unit has been
in existence since 1985 and has answered over 300 search callouts. In addition to regular unit and individual trainings, our handlers
have an average over 550 hours of instruction with nationally recognized trainers.
